Sterling Social is a creative marketing agency that helps businesses grow through social media, content creation, paid advertising, and website design. We work with businesses that want to build a strong online presence and create marketing that actually makes an impact.

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This is a remote position, but you'll need to be based in Chatham-Kent since part of the role includes visiting clients for content days.

If you're someone who loves creating content, has an eye for design, enjoys staying on top of social media trends, and knows how to turn ideas into engaging content, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days look exactly the same, but here's what you can expect:

Creating and managing social media content for a variety of clients.
Planning monthly content calendars and social strategies.
Filming reels, long-form videos, behind-the-scenes content during client content days.
Editing videos and creating graphics.
Writing captions that match each client's brand and connect with their audience.
Scheduling and publishing content across multiple platforms.
Monitoring account performance and making recommendations based on what's working.
Keeping up with trends and bringing fresh ideas to the table.

What We're Looking For

We're after someone who's creative, organized, independent and can confidently manage multiple clients.

You should have:

Experience managing social media for businesses or brands.
Experience creating content.
Confidence filming and editing short-form video content.
Strong Canva skills (Adobe experience is a bonus).
Great writing skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently, manage your time well, and meet deadlines.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

Experience with Meta Business Suite, Loomly, Notion, Final Cut Pro or similar platforms is a bonus but not essential.

Location

This is a remote, contract position, but applicants must live in Chatham-Kent or the surrounding area.

You'll be attending client content days, so being local is an important part of the role.
